Glamore 50gm - Bayer
Glamore is a combination insecticide consisting of Ethiprole + Imidacloprid 80 WG (40+ 40 % w/w). It is a very good tool for hopper management thereby avoiding possibly of hopper burn in the later crop stages. The combination of two different modes of action makes it an excellent tool in resistant management programs.
Mode of Action: Ethiprole has gamma butyric acid regulated chloride channel, which acts on central nervous system. It has high level of selective toxicity and thus cross resistance is not likely.
Imidacloprid is antagonistic to the nicotinic acetyl choline receptor in central nervous system, thus disturbing the proper signal transmission with following excitation of nerve cell. Consequently a disorder of the nervous system leading finally to the death of treated insect.
Features:
• Best fit in resistance management - Absence of cross resistance to other products used for hopper control makes Glamore a valuable tool for rice brown plant hopper and white backed plant hopper management.
• The combination of two modes of action gives very effective control
• Effective broad spectrum hopper control avoids development of hopper burn.
• Effective in all instars of hoppers.
Crops & Targeted Pests:
Rice - Brown Plant Hopper & White Backed Plant Hopper
